Man Invites his Girlfriend at Night to his House, Spends Good Time with her Before Killing her

 Kennedy Nyamu, a man in the Kerugoya sub-county in Kirinyanga county has been put behind bars by detectives in the area after he brutally murdered his girlfriend on 12th October 2021. The man was arrested at night when police officers silently made an unexpected trip to his place.




The man is said to have murdered his 27-year-old girlfriend Edith Muthoni after attacking her with a knife and stabbing her at the back of her head. The girl was immediately rushed to Kerugoya Referral Hospital in a critical condition by a good Samaritan, the doctors tried their best to save the life of the girl but she, unfortunately, passed away.


The manager in the hospital immediately informed the men in blue about the deceased and then that action was taken. The deceased's boyfriend was the main suspect and that is where the police officers first landed. He then took them to Kialenje village where the two spent the best part of their night before the man turned against his lover and killed her.


The suspect has been put under police custody assisting the police officers in investigations.
