Speaking during an interview with a local media outlet on October 25, Jackline Omboga demanded answers after the body of her husband, Thomas Oyaro, was found mutilated in a gunny bag. Omboga stated that Oyaro, who worked as a nurse in Texas, USA, arrived in Kenya on August 14, to spend time with his family during his annual leave. She travelled to Nairobi to receive her husband and together, they went to Kikuyu to visit their son, a high school student.
